If you wish to republish an Awsaj article, essay, or creative work, you may do so only under the following conditions:

General Terms

1. Agreement Requirement: Republishing is only permitted after entering into an agreement with Awsaj. A maximum of 250 words may be republished without prior agreement solely for critique or analysis purposes.

2. Content Limitations:

   • Republishing is limited to text only. Images, photographs, and illustrations may not be reused without explicit permission.
   • Awsaj reserves the right to decline requests for specific content, including Guides or other specialized resources.

3. Fees:

   • Awsaj charges a flat fee for republication of essays or articles. The fee structure is as follows:
     • Individual essays: $500 USD
     • Discounts for multiple essays or long-term agreements are available upon negotiation.

4. Educational Use:

   • Awsaj content can be used for educational purposes under the fair use doctrine, such as linking to or printing articles for classroom use. However, inclusion in course packs or other distributed materials requires a syndication agreement. Contact us for inquiries about educational use at republishing@awsaj.org.

5. Translation Rights:

   • Translations of Awsaj content are welcome as part of syndication agreements. Translation rights are provided under the same conditions and fees as standard syndication.

Steps for Republishing

1. Use the ‘Republish this Article’ button (or contact republishing@awsaj.org) to submit a request form and agree to these terms.
2. Await email confirmation from Awsaj before proceeding with republication. Republishing must not take place until agreement is confirmed.

Terms and Conditions

1. Pre-Approval: Republishing cannot occur until terms are agreed upon, and permission is granted via email.
2. Exact Reproduction: Articles must be republished in full, exactly as they appear on the Awsaj website. No alterations, abridgments, or edits (beyond house style) are allowed without prior approval.
3. Credit and Attribution:
   • Articles republished in English must include the following credit at the top:
     “This article was originally published as [Article Title](hyperlinked to original article) on Awsaj (awsaj.org).”
   • For translations, attribution may appear at the end of the article with the same format.
4. Canonical Links: When republishing online, the original Awsaj article must be referenced as the preferred version using a canonical link.
5. Payment Terms: Payment for syndication must be received within 21 days of invoice issuance.

Multiple Article Agreements

• Awsaj offers discounts for multiple article packages or ongoing syndication arrangements. These requests will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
• Awsaj reserves the right to revoke any agreement if it is deemed harmful to the organization’s interests or reputation.

Educational and Institutional Use

• Awsaj is proud to support educational use of its content. Linking to or printing articles for use in lessons is permissible under fair use. For broader use (e.g., inclusion in textbooks or distributed resources), please contact republishing@awsaj.org to arrange terms.
